Afterword

Many churches engage in both local and global outreach, recognizing the importance of spreading their faith both close to home and around the world. The reasons for a church congregation to participate in world evangelism include:

  1. Great Commission Mandate: Many Christians are motivated by the Great Commission, where Jesus instructs his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). This commandment is a call to spread the Gospel message worldwide.
  2. Compassion and Justice: Churches should feel a moral obligation to share their faith with those who do not yet have access to the gospel.
  3. Global Church Unity: Engaging in world evangelism can foster a sense of unity and solidarity among Christians worldwide, as they work together to fulfill a common mission.
  4. Cultural Exchange: World evangelism outreach can provide opportunities for cultural exchange and mutual learning as Christians interact with people from different backgrounds and contexts.
  5. Personal Spiritual Growth: People involved in world evangelism outreach through giving or praying or going find that it deepens their own faith and understanding of their beliefs as they engage with diverse perspectives and experiences.
