Those phenomena, while not necessarily "caused" by God, are certainly being used by Him. These phenomena offer opportunities for evangelism not only for missionaries in other countries but also for churches in the U.S. The five phenomena are:
We need to look for opportunities in all these situations rather than being depressed by what, at first glance, can seem like obstacles.

Political changes, religious radicalism, natural disasters, urbanization, and spiritual hunger can serve as catalysts for opportunities in Christian evangelism. In times of political upheaval, individuals sometimes seek solace and guidance in faith, turning to religious communities for stability and support. The rise of religious radicalism can prompt individuals to question their beliefs and seek alternative paths. That can open doors for evangelistic outreach. Natural disasters may shake communities to their core, prompting existential questions and a search for meaning. Christians can address these through their message of hope and redemption. Urbanization brings diverse populations into close proximity, providing fertile ground for cross-cultural evangelism and outreach efforts. Moreover, amid spiritual hunger and disillusionment with secular values, people may be more receptive to the message of Christianity, finding fulfillment in its teachings of love, forgiveness, and salvation.
