MSM and MBA

MSM and MBA Programs at SNU!!

Both the Master of Science in Management and the Master of Business Amnimistration are for people who hold their accredited bachelor's degrees in any field. (Not requiring a bachelor's degree in business to enter allows people to switch fields if they are seeking a new direction.) Both programs are delivered in an accelerated fashion. As with the undergraduate programs, scholars meet only one evening per week. Scholars stay in the same group for the entire program and thus, form deep friendships and end up with a natural network.

" Enroll only once in the entire program, saving you both time and resources.

Textbooks and materials are conveniently delivered to you in your classroom.

Students concentrate on one subject at a time, attending class only one night a week.

You can complete your degree in as little as 64 (MSM) or 82 (MBA) class sessions with several start dates each year.

Three locations in Oklahoma are available, the main SNU campus in Bethany, a classroom in Del City and an extension campus in Tulsa."(Quoted from SNU website)

God calls mission-minded people to positions of leadership within business. With all of the unethical practices in corporations it is important that ethical people move into businesses to exert a positive influence. God also calls some people to additional wealth - which is what often happens when people earn an MBA or an MSM. (Estimates are that a person will increase his or her income by 62% after earning an MBA.) With a master's degree you are more likely to acquire wealth.

The reason for the wealth, however, is not just so that people can be buying larger homes and bigger boats - rather, it is so that they can better carry out God's work in the world. We are called to help others - for example, we could be working in micro-loans to help people all around the world move out of poverty and lack of educational oportunities.

See this link for more information on micro-loans and on last year's reciptient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

We can also help people in the United States move toward education and access. SNU is doing this by offering these programs in Professional and Graduate Studies. They offer access to education that are geared toward working adults. This educational delivery method allows access for people who work full-time and have families. The atmosphere is tremendous for those who wish to better themselves and are committed to learning. Scholars experience both a caring environment and at the same time excellence in academics. The programs are not easy but they are tremendously worthwhile. While no amount of education is a guarantee for success, truly those individuals who learn and grow will have many more opportunities than if they had not earned degrees. And because you will complete your education in the quickest way possible, you can start earning more faster. In SNU's programs, scholars come to class once a week. They do some work on-line, but getting together with classmates helps them to form an encouraging support group. That group helps members to stick with it and stay on track. One does not get lost in cyberland.
