Dr. Laura Yordy is author of Green Witness: Ecology, Ethics, and the Kingdom of God. Dr. Yordy grew up in Virginia, and after living in North Carolina for 25 years, has returned to Virginia, where she lives with her family in the Shenandoah Valley. She received her Ph.D. in Theology and Ethics from Duke University. After teaching at Duke, Wake Forest, and Shaw Universities, she is now an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Ethics at Bridgewater College. She is a lifelong Episcopalian, and coordinates Adult Education at her local church.
