Single sample t with STATISTICA:

First, open your data set and then go to “Statistics” and then to “Basic Statistics and Tables.”  Click on single sample t test.

 


 

Next, on the left hand side, click on your dependent variable – usually your total score.

Click on “all results.”

 

 

Put your mo in the “Constant mean” box.  (Remember that “Mu sub o” is the mean you’re testing against.)

 

 

Click “true” on confidence intervals if you want them.

 

 

Click on OK and get your results.
