For more than three decades, Southern Nazarene University's Homecoming festivities in November have included a Friday luncheon honoring retired and former missionaries as well as those on home assignment. On the guest list will also be the MK's (Missionary Kids) who are students at SNU.
At one recent luncheon we added up the total number of years of cross-cultural missionary service by those present. The 45 or so people at that luncheon had served a total of 777 years on mission fields.
