CHAOS TO CONCILIATION THROUGH VIOLENCE IN JUDGES AND I SAMUEL.”  Used a Girardian perspective on sacral kingship and sacrifice to understand the emergence of the Monarchy in Israel out of the dissolution of the period of Judges.  Supervisor:  Dwight Swanson, Ph.D. at Nazarene Theological College and Graham Ward, Ph.D. at the University of Manchester.  External examination conducted by David Firth, Ph.D. of Cliff College and Hugh Pyper, Ph.D. of the University of Sheffield.

Biographical:

 

Robyn and I are the parents of three wonderful kids, Nathan Scott, Cambree Admire, and Kylie Jewel.

 

I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon and consider myself to be a "Northwesterner" and an "Oregonian."  I enjoy outdoor events, particularly mountain biking, hiking, camping, rock climbing and surfing.  As a family, we like to travel, ride bikes, walk, swim, and play games at home.

 

I am sometimes a Johannes factotum.
