SNU's Homecoming Weekend missionary luncheon

"I thank my God every time I remember you." -- Philippians 1:3

For the past decade Southern Nazarene University's Homecoming festivities in November have included a Friday luncheon honoring furloughed, retired and former missionaries. On the guest list will also be the MK's (Missionary Kids) who are students at SNU.

At one recent luncheon we added up the total number of years of cross-cultural missionary service by those present. The 45 or so people at that luncheon had served a total of 777 years on mission fields.

Tickets to this missionary luncheon are free to furloughed and retired missionaries. All other ticket prices are subsidized. Reservations are required (so we know how much food to order!)

Need further information on this missionary celebration event? Contact the SNU alumni office or Dr. Howard Culbertson: < >.

The luncheon is normally held in the Heritage Room of the SNU commons. [ SNU campus map ]
