I am married to Frank Goforth. He is
my best friend and soul-mate. We celebrated our 15th anniversary in
2007. Frank is a gentle-spirited, kind, and fun-loving
individual. He is Christ-centered and pursues Christ-likeness.

We both love Shelties. Our current
puppy kids are Molly and MacGregor. This picture was taken on the first day
that MacGregor came to live with Molly and us.

Frank and I are professional horn players. Both of us play in
the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. In fact- that is where we first
met. Frank received his Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma
Baptist University. I did my Bachelor of Music degree at the Eastman
School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. Frank is a computer
professional with the Hertz Corporation.

Although I enjoy music, I have an equal passion for science.
In pursuing this passion for science, I received a bachelor's degree in
Biology from Southern Nazarene University, and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and
Anatomy from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

While a student at SNU, I was convinced that I would pursue
an M.D. degree to serve God through the practice of medicine. During my
3 years of undergraduate science training, God lead me in a confusing but
exciting path towards serving Him in the high calling of Christian Higher
Education. The demands of this career can be daunting - the
responsibility of mentoring fellow Christians in their faith walk and career
development makes one feel humble and at times inadequate. But the
intangible rewards are priceless. Maybe you too will be called into
Christian Higher Education - keep your heart open. You may find out, as
I did, that medicine is not necessarily the highest calling for those who
have been gifted intellectually.
One of our favorite past-times is mountain-biking. There are
some fun trails to the north of lake Hefner and in the Stinchcomb
Wildlife Preserve. If you have a bike, let me know and we'll go
trailing together! We also have a pair of kayaks. If we're
not boating or biking, you are likely to find us camping or fishing. In
general - I love getting to know God better by exploring and enjoying his
natural revelation (the beautiful handiwork of creation).
