THE
HOLOCAUST

The Holocaust was the systematic annihilation of six million Jews by the Nazi regime during World War II. On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland and World War II began. Shortly thereafter, one of the worst tragedies this world has ever witnessed took place. In the following links, knowledge can be gained about the derivation of the Holocaust, including Hitler's rise to power and the beginning of Nazi persecution. Information can also be found on the concentration camps, as well as medical experiments conducted in those camps during the Holocaust. The liberation of the prisoners and two survivors' stories are also included in this site.
