assures us that they will deliver to
Royal Inn and Days Inn (as well as
Hilton & Quality Inn) for the same rate
of $25.00 from Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU).
Also, the Sunday Shuttle for return
service to RDU (arranged thru: sgunter@div.duke.edu)
will also service all hotels: Hilton,
Quality, Days Inn and Royal Inn.
Update (2/5/08)
To those who registered early for the Duke WTS-SPS conference, CONGRATULATIONS!
To those who have not yet reserved accommodations, you need to know that two host hotels, The Durham Hilton, and Quality inn are SOLD OUT.
However, rooms have now been reserved at The Millennium Hotel for a window of the next two weeks at a rate of $129.00 (exclusive of taxes).
The
$129.00 rate applies to both king and double rooms, there is
availability for March 13 – 15.
Our
transportation shuttles will stop at The Millennium Hotel
enroute to Duke from The Hilton and Quality Inn! You will have
the same quality of service as those who have registered at the
official conference hotels.

The shuttle service to Duke Divinity School will run from the parking lot between all hotels, You can catch the shuttle to the meeting.

Transportation Information, to/from the
Airport
Airport: Fly into Raleigh, NC (RDU)
Airport to Hotel: Airport transfers upon arrival may
be booked through
Charlene's
Safe Ride by calling 800-835-8053. The cost is $35.00
(versus $35 - $40 for a taxi) The transfer must be booked and
paid for in advance in order to get this rate.
Hotel back to Airport: Those who will be attending the
annual meeting at Duke next March should be aware of the fact
that there are not enough cabs in the area to get everyone back
to the airport if, as anticipated, most attendees leave on
Sunday morning. Duke Divinity School has kindly arranged for an
airport shuttle on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The
cost will be $20.00. You can pay this fee at the registration
table that will be set up in the Hilton Hotel. When your travel
plans are complete, you can make an advance reservation by
sending an email with your departure time to
sgunter@div.duke.edu .
