I'm still not done with VBGALIB. Version 3.0 will incorporate a basic networking capability so that multiple computers can break up the computational burden of massive chromosome manipulation tasks. Statistical sampling methods will also be incorporated. I'm also thinking about some sort of graphical rendering of the genome. I'd be open to further suggestions too.
Believe it or not, I've actually written a beta of the 3.0 version, but I have yet to come up with a good application to show it's abilities. [1/4/2005]
