Needs

1. Prayer Support.
   Without prayer, we can do nothing. All of us can pray. Pray for wisdom, discernment, power, workers, finances, the board, and recovery clients.
2. New and continuing financial support.
   Many of our donors give only $5, $10 or $20 per month, but it all adds up. Our donors are the life blood of this ministry to the poor and to the homeless.
3. Teams on mission trips: Out-of-town Work & Witness teams as well as local skilled individuals for remodeling and renovation projects:
   • Love Link's main warehouse and office.
     • Complete waiting area renovation
       • Hang doors, install electrical fixtures, install carpet in 10/20 area
       • Material costs: $250
       • Labor needs: Trim carpenter and electrician
     • Remodel receptionist's office
       • Change counter area, move electrical outlets, remove one window, add a door, add counters and shelving
       • Material costs: $550
       • Labor needs: Trim carpenter and electrician
     • Insulate warehouse area
       • Material costs: $2000
       • Labor needs: General workers
     • Add front patio cover
       • Material costs: $750
       • Labor needs: Carpenter and helpers
   • Recovery house at 613 S. Shartel
     • Add a bathroom, replace window, redo kitchen cabinets
     • Material costs: $1000
     • Labor needs: Carpenter, plumber, electrician, helpers
   • Recovery house at 515 S. Lee
     • New roof for front, remodel kitchen (cabinets, appliances, flooring, light fixtures), patch plaster walls, new ceiling in living room, paint interior
     • Material costs: $2750
     • Labor needs: Experienced carpenter, electrician, plumber, roofer
4. A more fully developed Recovery Program.
   At present our houses serve as half-way houses. Plus, we expect the clients to attend church services and at least two AA meetings per week, to journal daily and keep other specified rules of the program. But our need for a full-fledged faith-based treatment program is great.
5. Professional staff for the addiction recovery program.
   A counselor or social worker on a regular basis (even one time a week volunteers) would be wonderful.
6. Salaries for key staff members.
