Going on a mission trip?

Which approach are you using to fund it?

Friend raising video

Are you begging for money?
OR
Are you asking
for prayer support?

If you think raising money for a missions trip means begging for money, you're going to be discouraged a lot. That's because you'll start looking at people in terms of how much you can get out of their billfolds.

Here's a video resource from SNU's media center that can turn you around.

In just twenty-two minutes you'll be taught the financial aid support principles that have benefited thousands of cross-cultural missionaries and volunteers. You'll see how you need to approach this, not as fund-raising, but as creating a network of prayer supporters.

Betty Barnett says you don't need to be a hyper fund raiser or resort to gimmicks to raise support for a missions trip.

Twenty-two minutes spent watching this video could be some of the most important minutes of your life.

Purchase the material on DVD (The Southern Nazarene University library also has Betty Barnett's book by the same name!)
