My Honest Prayer

When heaven speaks in earthly terms,

as sunsets glow or babies smile,

I stop to know my Savior waits for me a while.

I'll tell him what is on my mind

And He will listen closely.

Swallowing all my pride I tell my hurts,

My pains, my sins.

He softly says, "I know."
