The Beauty of Africa
Cattle grazing far off on a distant hill
A grass hut with a smooth dung floor
People of all different shades with warm smiles.
The Indian Ocean throwing herself to the shore.
Rains falling, turning the world green.
Sunsets that never seem to end
Striking, bright colours for all to see.
Pine trees howling in the wind
Stars that sparkle in the Southern skies
Moonlit walks along a peaceful beach
Beating drums by open fires
Beauty within reach.
Mountains rising majestically from the savanna
Deserts hot with flowing white sand.
Savannas wide with roaming beasts
Going home to Swaziland
You are never far from my heart, dear friend
You are always close to me.
I will see you again one day.
