some have complimented my timing,

but my hands have been broken

and now i must be replaced by One more faithful.

some would say now is not the time,

but i can no longer look at this face

with hads turning years too soon

and moments too late

some might mention my failure to meet expectation,

but i am solely obligated to the Father of time

and this hour He has chosen for me.

so i may fight with intuition

but i cannot deny the condition of these hands

that will always be too small to keep the greater time.
